The idea: Downtrend continuation after a bounce
The euro is in a down trend with RSI in the bearish zone but not yet oversold, which leaves room for further downside. The recent small bounce could be a chance to join the trend at a better location. The risk is a sudden dollar reversal that carries price back toward resistance.
Chance of reaching the first target before the stop: about 19% (range 12% to 26%). Confidence in the read: medium. This is an estimate from a simple model of price swings, not a promise.
How it is protected and managed
Hedges and limits. The stop sits above the recent swing area, and size is kept modest because forex moves can gap on news. It is the only dollar-strength idea in the set, so exposure is not stacked.
What proves it wrong. A daily close above the recent resistance zone, or a clear shift of the trend out of down.
Management plan. Take a partial at 1R, move the stop to breakeven, and trail by one ATR. Exit if price stalls near the 20-day support without follow-through.
